Geolocation Journeys – up date

GEOLOCATION JOURNEYS

Supporting marine predator research at the
Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies
University of Tasmania

LAUNCH REPORT
The  launch of this program raised $4500 and received coverage on ABC Radio, Facebook and Twitter. It is an encouraging start to the project and Lynchpin encourages you to use word of mouth to bring more and more people to know of the vital marine predator research this program is supporting.
Proceeds will directly contribute to the purchase of new geolocators to track Antarctic Fur Seals, Elephant Seals, Penguins, Albatrosses and Shearwaters. This information will help scientists identify areas of ecological significance within the Southern Ocean – bringing us one step closer to protecting these unique species.
